In which we find the lost caravan cattle and have our first battle with The Infected. Happily, this side quest also gives us a fast-travel point that leads us to the California Tribe and solving the water problem in Union City.

In which, after observing several fire-worshipping raiders getting killed by a fire-breathing gecko (oh the irony!), we set about escorting the wayward caravan back to Union City. Then, having restored power to Union City, we stumble across a Survivalist Training Camp while seeking more lost cattle.

In which we go off the road and head west, encountering raiders and rattlesnakes. This is less of a problem, however, than our quickly becoming weighed down with the loot taken from the raiders my unwieldy posse take down.

 
Good news is we're going to be rich once I find a vendor. Bad news is, there's no apparent vendors in this part of the wasteland.

In which our Wasteland Ranger safe-house stops being safe and we're left fleeing the Survivalists. Ironically, it's a friendly Survivalist who is trying to get out of the group who helps us down the road and tells us where to go next. Handy, that!
