In which, having freed Junktown from Gizmo's greasy grip (not that anyone seems to have noticed he's dead), we save the town whore, apparently get laid, recruit the best NPC follower in the game and start trying to deal with what's left of Junktown's criminal element.

In which, having finished raiding Vault 15 and run into Duc The Merchant, we return to Shady Sands just in time for Tandi to get kidnapped by raiders and for us to save her...eventually. Once that is resolved, we have just enough time to make our way to Junktown.

In which we explore the west side of Shady Sands and take on the first of many sub-quests. In this case, we head off to a cave full of giant scorpions and search for a cure for giant scorpion poison. We also hire our first minion, er companion - a mercenary named Ian who is awfully quick to agree to work on credit.

In which we watch the opening movie and learn for the first time that War.. War Never Changes. We then go through the character creation process, stumble around in a cave for a bit killing rats (as we usually do in the first part of any RPG) and make our way to the first village, where we learn of an exciting opportunity to kill things besides rats in a cave.

Here it is! The grand finale! Will we save Amanda Waller from The Joker? Will we save The Joker from himself? Will we get an answer to who really killed The Riddler? Will I find a way to make this version of Batman even more of a screw-up in the 11th hour? Will I ever stop asking rhetorical questions in these introductions?
