Issue 7 centers upon John Constantine and Klarion the Witchboy setting a trap for Superman, who is even more dangerous now that he's being backed by The Spectre. The Spirit of Vengeance has always had a thing about magicians in general and he's not about to tolerate a motley collection of them ending the forced peace that Superman has created. But there are some magicians who are loyal to Superman and one of them - Raven - is the perfect piece of bait.
Tom Taylor's scripts for these issues present a perfect balance between comedy and drama. The artwork by Mike S. Miller, Xermanico and Bruno Redondo are of equality quality to the well-written scripts. If you're not already reading this series, you should be!
