THIS JUST IN: Megan Fox Doesn't Want To Play Wonder Woman; WW Fans Everywhere Celebrate

SOURCE: Megan Fox: ‘Wonder Woman Is A Lame Superhero’

“Wonder Woman is a lame superhero… She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don’t get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don’t want to do it.”

And now, a video simulation of the reaction of every Wonder Woman fan on the planet to the news that Megan Fox does not want to star in a Wonder Woman movie.

  1. Yeah, my reaction was basically "and you're a lame actress. The world is much happier you've decided not to play Wonder Woman."
Seriously, I marveled when people wanted her to do it. First, she's much too tiny and willowy looking. Second, the role I remember her in is when she made sure to look sexy in a short skirt, run around screaming and act coquetteish in Transformers. Not a sterling recommendation to play the greatest superheroine.

  2. Well, I comfort myself with the knowledge that everyone who said they thought Megan Fox should play the role was a Maxim-reader whose opinion was based entirely on how well Fox could fill out a pair of star-spangled panties.

  3. Yes and Megan Fox is a terrible actress who prior to transformers was best known for being Brian Austin Green's arm candy. Dear Megan, we don't want you.. I'm damn glad you didn't see the wonder woman animated movie they did because it would explain it. Just that Diana is a bad ass, fierce warrior and please don't start eyeing Dinah. You scantily clad tramp.

  4. Woah, don't hold back! Let us know how you really feel about her. ;)
BTW, Roy from B&B says Lian says "Hi Grandma Canary!"

  5. o_O that's the kind of thing that makes me want to log in to smack roy and then cuddle a Lian...
and seriously I can't believe Megan Fox is going to appear in the next Transformers anyways, hers is the kind of part that gets replaced by the next hot actress to come along.. sheesh.

  6. I think Bay is actually trying to commit to the continuity of the series. Either that or he really just wants to get her in the sack.

  7. I think my main concern with Megan Fox was that someone was going to put her in as WW, and pay her a ton of money to do it, rather than her having any willingness to play the part.
But since she doesn't like it, hey, cheers. Now we just have to worry about Hollywood getting someone else that's as untalented as Megan playing the part.
Truthfully, I'd love to have Vanessa Williams playing the part. Seriously, I saw this picture of her on the net during one of her tennis matches...

    Seriously, that screams kickass warrior.

  8. We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one, but I can respect the choice.
Personally, I'm holding out for Morena Baccarin. And a JLA movie with Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan and Adam Baldwin as Hawkman, as long as I'm dreaming.

  9. Just wanted to say that I liked your comment, but it's a little more "adult" than I'm comfortable having on my blog... even if it is probably an accurate assessment of how Megan Fox keeps getting work. That's the only reason I'm not unscreening it.
For what it's worth, I haven't seen any articles that says the producers of the Wonder Woman movie actually approached her. The only reason she was even asked about it in the above interview was because of a fan-made image that was circulating the Internet with her made up to look like Wonder Woman.
But yeah... I'd rather have Rachel Bilson at this point.

  10. Nah, too weak and 'glam' looking. She looks a bit like a starved model, not the beautiful and powerful warrior godess she is. I do like the Vanessa Williams idea, but it would depend on her acting ability.

  11. She can muscle up, though.
Facially, she looks exotic enough that I think - given three months of weight training - she could pull Diana off. Plus, she's an actual actress and I'd rather have an actual actress then worry about the look being perfect if it came down to that.

  12. Hey, no problem. :)
I've been told I need to calm my language a bit. I can get a little... heated. thanks for the explaination, and I apologies for crossing any lines.

  13. Believe me, I understand getting passionate about a character. I just think we could all do without the graphic imagery involving things I'd rather not think about.

  14. Noted. and once again, I apologise. :)

  15. Hmm.
Maybe... I agree it's have to be someone who can act the part, but if the looks have to be altered to fit it may not look right.
I'm thinking of Angelina in that abortion of a move tomb raider.
Sure all she had to do was look big in the chest and jump for an hour and a half, but they actually tried to train her into looking tough as well. I never bought it, though.
I just cant see it working. Sort of like looking strong has more to do with how you are rather than just how you look.
But then again, I've been proven wrong before.

  16. Lian misses you too! :P
And well, I'd rather have Shia Labouf gone too :P

  17. Ick. I know. He actually annoys me more than Megan Fox, if only because he fails as a comedic sidekick and a comedic leading man. And he especially fails as a serious leading man - thank god only George Lucas seems to take him seriously in that capacity.
