Starman Plays Fallout - Part 32

In which I showcase one of the more fun and more difficult character builds for playing the classic Fallout: The Lenny Build!  We're too stupid to talk to people and can't get quests, but what we lack in charisma and comprehension we make up for by pounding stuff good. Now, tell me about the rabbits, George.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 31

In which we finally enter into The Cathedral and work to confront the Master of the Super Mutants. Will we save our Vault? Will we make the wasteland safe for dirty, leather-clad weirdos? Will the Followers of the Apocalypse actually be useful? Will I find another way to die stupidly while showing all the ways you can win the game here?

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 30

In which we take on the mother of all Deathclaws (or at least all the local ones) and lead the Blades in a glorious revolution against the Regulators. Get ready for action that grinds the game to a screeching halt as EVERYONE gets involved in the fighting.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 29

In which we finally retrieve the books Miles the Chemist needs, after much backtracking as I try to remember where I accidentally sold the damn things. We also pay a largely pointless visit to the Followers of the Apocalypse, before acquiring the best armor in the game.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 28

In which we go back to the Deathclaw Breeding Grounds and successfully speak to the Gun Runners without teleporting into a Deathclaw orgy afterwards. We also speak with Blades and discover that - shockingly - the work camp full of armed guards who keep telling us we're being watched are NOT good guys!

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 27

In which we start to explore the Boneyard and the happy, peaceful society they have which has nothing bad whatsoever about it... so long as you don't mind guys in metal armor warning you that they're watching your every move.

We then make our way through the Deathclaw breeding grounds to make our way to the Gun Runners... only to wind up in the center of a Deathclaw orgy when we try and head back...

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 26

In which we once again fight The Lieutenant and his guards, with a little help from our robot friends. We also (finally) blow up the Super Mutant base and return to the Brotherhood of Steel... only to find that nobody really cares that much.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 25

In which we attempt to destroy the Super Mutant base only to be defeated by my two greatest enemies - random critical hits and random game crashes.

This does have the unintended side-effect of me showing you two different ways to confront the fourth floor of the base. One is semi-stealthy and involves very little combat. The other involves a bunch of guys in robes trying to Bruce Lee me, despite my wearing power armor.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 24

In which we raid the Super Mutant base and attack the entrance twice due to the one corpse with the one item we need to advance getting blown up. We then attempt a stealthy invasion, or as stealthy as you can manage when you're wearing Power Armor. It works pretty well until we encounter Super Mutants that can hear through walls.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 23

In which we finally rescue that guy in Old Town by picking a lock the Brotherhood of Steel way - with explosives! We then finish getting what "help" we can from the Brotherhood, as we prepare to storm the Super Mutant base, just before I fight a one-man running battle against five Super Mutants and show just how awesome the plasma rifle is in the right hands.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 22

In which we bid farewell to Tycho, who died as he lived - trying to punch a Super Mutant to death despite having two shot guns and a sniper rifle. Having lost our last companion (and all leave of our senses) we set out to try and cleanse The Hub of scum and villainy now that we're down a man but armed with better armor and weapons.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 21

In which, after a slight detour fighting a ton of Radscorpions, we finally get around to destroying the raider camp, like the big damn heroes we are.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 20

In which we set about trying to endear ourselves to the Brotherhood of Steel and earn ourselves some sweet, sweet Power Armor and advanced weaponry. Because we're really going to need all that to survived the end of the game. We also get some experimental surgery, harass another hot librarian and generally try to take everything that isn't nailed down without pissing off the High Elder. Again.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 19

In which we emerge victorious from The Glow and go on to get inducted into the Brotherhood of Steel, only for me to get kicked out of the order after about five minutes. Oh well. That's what back-up saves are for...

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 18

In which we continue to explore The Glow and loot the place blind as I continue to destroy perfectly nice robots while they're deactivated, before fighting one to show you just why I'm perfectly willing to go for the easy XP this one time.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 17

In which we take on The Glow and... have a surprisingly easy time there after two videos full of me getting killed. Of course it's easy to not die when there's no enemies but deactivated robots and you take the precaution of crushing them to bits while the power is off.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 16

In which, having run a few missions to upgrade gear off-camera, we once again try to cleanse The Hub of evil... and manage to take down 1 of the 3 criminal enterprises. Well, it's a start...'

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 15

In which we return to Old Town and get to know our friendly neighborhood gun runner and drug dealer. We then try to start cleaning up The Hub and I realize how I really screwed up letting Ian and Dogmeat get killed before trying to take on the mob in The Hub.

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 14

In which we finally DO start solving the mystery of the missing caravans and have our first encounter with a Deathclaw. But first we explore Old Town and meet Harold - a mutant who doesn't want to eat our face!

Starman Plays Fallout - Part 13

In which, after proving the power of reading, we start trying to solve the mystery of the missing caravans only to get totally distracted by a side-quest to save some guy's farm from raiders. The good news is we won't have to worry about Ian accidentally killing us anymore. The bad news is this is because he and Dogmeat get killed in this fight. Whoops!
